در مراسم سالانه‌ی «فستیوال بازی‌های مستقل» (Independent Games Festival) که به اختصار IGF شناخته می‌شود، شاهد معرفی برترین بازی‌های مستقل و ارائه‌ی جوایزی به آن‌ها خواهید بود. مراسم IGF 2018 در تاریخ 21 مارس سال 2018 (برابر با 1 فروردین ماه سال 1397) به عنوان بخشی از کنفرانس GDC برگزار خواهد شد. در مراسم IGF 2018، بیش از 35 بازی در 7 دسته‌ی مختلف، نامزد دریافت جایزه‌ی برترین بازی مستقل شده‌اند.
